Founded in 1991, Watermill Golf Garden spans 800 rai (317 acres) and features an 18-hole, par-72 course designed by renowned golf architect Jay Roberts Savastano of Dye Designs USA. The course is notable for its challenging water hazards, particularly the iconic 11th hole, a par 3 spanning 157 yards with an "Island green" that leaves a lasting impression on all who play.

Known for its high-standard design, Watermill Golf Garden is a preferred venue for numerous competitions. It also supports young golfers through the Watermill Junior Golf Championship and hosted the 24th Universiade in 2007.
