The Legacy Golf Club, the only Jack Nicklaus-designed course in Bangkok, is conveniently located next to Safari World, just a 40-minute drive from the city center.
Situated between two lakes, The Legacy Golf Club offers a challenging experience for both amateur and professional golfers. It features signature Jack Nicklaus design elements, such as waste bunkers, wide fairways, and tight approaches. The course measures over 7,100 yards from the 'Jack' tees, but with five tee boxes, it caters to players of all skill levels. Large lakes affect nearly half the holes, while the greens, though undulated, generally run slow. Many of the greens are well-guarded by deep bunkers. The par-4 sixteenth hole is particularly challenging, with a large island green almost entirely surrounded by water and sand.
The spacious clubhouse includes several restaurants and function rooms. While the service is satisfactory, the Japanese cuisine is notably well-priced and tasty. However, the locker rooms appear dated, and the entire clubhouse could benefit from renovation.
