The Rose Garden Golf Club, one of Thailand's oldest and most renowned golf courses, hosted the 1992 Thailand Open and has been praised internationally for its excellent layout. Though it suffered significant damage from flooding in 2011, new owners restored it the following year, revitalizing the course with Bermuda grass and meticulous maintenance.

The course winds through mature trees and lush vegetation, living up to its name with beautiful floral displays from January to April. It features narrow, tree-lined fairways and heavily-bunkered greens, requiring precise approach shots. Despite being relatively short from the white tees, it offers a pleasant and challenging experience.

Water hazards not only enhance the course's beauty but also add to the challenge. The greens are soft and receptive, with notable variety throughout the round, particularly on the par-5 holes.

Highlights include:

• 11th Hole: A par-5 where players must hit right off the tee to negotiate a left dogleg, followed by a challenging second shot and a skilled third shot.

• 17th Hole: A risk-reward par-5 reachable in two, requiring a strategic approach along the left side to set up a birdie opportunity.

The modest clubhouse includes a putting green and driving range. The facility is well-maintained and features an excellent restaurant serving Thai and Japanese cuisine. On-course refreshment kiosks provide local Thai snacks at reasonable prices.
