Navatanee Golf Course is an exclusive golfing destination built in 1973 specifically to host the 23rd World Cup of Golf in 1975. The course is the brainchild of its founder, Sukum Navapan, and was masterfully designed by world-renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. His vision was to create a course that would challenge professional golfers while still providing an enjoyable experience for players of varying skill levels. Transformed from paddy fields, this 6,902-yard championship course meets international standards and stands as Jones Jr.'s first masterpiece in Asia. In 1999, Navatanee Golf Course was ranked among the top courses in mainland Thailand by Golf Digest USA.The course's rich history and striking beauty, with 'Flame of the Forest' and Rosewood trees alongside vivid arrays of bougainvillea lining the fairways, create a perfect blend of serenity and challenge. The signature 6th hole, a formidable 445-yard par-4, requires a draw-shaped shot from the tee to reach the green in regulation. Water hazards line the entire left side of the fairway and another lake fronts the green in a sweeping reverse 'S' shape, making par on this hole a notable achievement. This enchanting course continues to attract golfers from around the world.
